What Is HouseLoop? AI Home Search, Started in Kansas City

Last updated September 12, 2026.

HouseLoop is a nationwide online home search platform that started in Kansas City in January 2026. It combines live MLS listings, Myli and HouseLoop licensed real estate agents so the relationship can stay with HouseLoop from the first search through closing. HouseLoop does not sell your inquiry to an unrelated agent.

Kansas City coverage

Kansas City is HouseLoop's first and active market. It covers eight counties: Johnson County, KS, Wyandotte County, KS, Leavenworth County, KS, Miami County, KS, Jackson County, MO, Clay County, MO, Platte County, MO, Cass County, MO. As of September 12, 2026, HouseLoop shows 7,568 homes for sale across the metro, with 603 more marked coming soon. Homes outside these eight counties do not appear on HouseLoop today. Listings courtesy of Heartland MLS as distributed by MLS GRID.

Live listings

Listings in Kansas City come from the Heartland MLS, the same feed local real estate agents use. New homes appear as they are listed, and price changes and status changes show up on the home's page. As of September 12, 2026, 810 homes were listed in the last seven days and the median asking price across the metro was $375,000. Sold homes stay on the site with what they sold for. Each new HouseLoop market opens with its own local MLS feed. Search every home for sale.

How HouseLoop is different

On many national real estate portals, the company that provides the search experience is separate from the local agent who ultimately helps you. HouseLoop is built to keep those pieces together. Search the live market, ask Myli a question, save a home or tour this home. When human help is needed, a HouseLoop licensed real estate agent serving that market takes over. HouseLoop does not sell your inquiry as a lead to an unrelated agent. The listings are the same MLS listings available across major real estate sites. What is different is what happens around them: the search, Myli, your saved information and the real estate agent helping you can stay connected from the first search through closing. Every new market launches under the HouseLoop brand.

Relocating to Kansas City

Moving to Kansas City from somewhere else is harder when you do not know the metro yet. HouseLoop covers all eight counties on both sides of the state line, with pages for counties, cities, ZIP codes and neighborhoods. With Myli, you can compare areas by housing stock, commute and price. Name your workplace and she can measure the drive from a home in miles and minutes. Ask about schools and she can show available school information and the assigned schools for a specific home. Tell her your budget and she can show what it buys in different parts of the metro. Start with the Kansas City housing market report or a county page above, then ask Myli.

Myli, your home search companion

Myli is the software built into HouseLoop. You can type what you want in plain words and she searches the live listings for you. She can work out what you can afford, run the monthly payment on a home, compare homes, show you what similar homes sold for and help you tour this home with a HouseLoop licensed real estate agent serving your market. She remembers what you told her when you come back. She is software, not a person, and she says so. When you want a human, she connects you to one. Meet Myli.

For buyers

HouseLoop is free to use, and you do not need an account to search. Buyers can search the market by city, county, ZIP code, school rating, price and other home features; save the homes they like; and create searches that alert them when a new match is listed. An account keeps your saved homes, searches and the numbers Myli works out for you. Myli can narrow a search one question at a time: which part of the metro, how many bedrooms, which features matter and the top of your budget. When you find a home, you can ask a question or tour this home from its page. A HouseLoop licensed real estate agent serving your market handles the human side from there. HouseLoop itself does not charge buyers to search homes, save listings, create alerts, use Myli or tour a home.

For homeowners

Homeowners can claim their home on HouseLoop and get its value checked every month from then on. Your HouseLoop dashboard shows the estimate, the range and how it has moved. You can see what nearby homes are listed at and what similar homes sold for, using the same MLS data buyers see. When you are thinking about selling, a HouseLoop licensed real estate agent serving your market can help you understand your options and what the next move would look like. What's my home worth?

Who built it

HouseLoop was founded in January 2026 by Zach Spradling. In Kansas City, the first team to run on the HouseLoop platform is the Spradling Group, powered by HouseLoop. Read their story of HouseLoop. The real estate experience behind HouseLoop goes back to 2010 in Kansas City. Years of working directly with buyers and sellers showed the same gap again and again: people had plenty of places to browse listings, but the search, the answers, the memory and the human help were disconnected. HouseLoop was built to put those pieces in one place.

In Kansas City, our local partner is The Spradling Group, a real estate team led by Zach and Ana Spradling, founded in 2010 and brokered by eXp Realty. HouseLoop is the home-search platform, and when you want help buying or selling, a HouseLoop licensed real estate agent from the local partner team can handle showings, offers, negotiations, listings and closing support.
