Meet Myli: HouseLoop's AI Real Estate Assistant

What Myli is

Myli is the software built into HouseLoop. She is software, and she says so. You talk to her in plain words, on the HouseLoop home page, on any home's page and in your HouseLoop dashboard. She reads the same live MLS listings you see on the site and nothing else. Under her answers she offers a short row of next steps you can tap, so you never hit a dead end. Her job is to get you to the right home and the right person, one step at a time. She works in every HouseLoop market as it opens. Today that is Kansas City.

Home search

Type what you want and Myli searches the live listings. Say “a ranch in Lee's Summit with a big yard under $400k” and she finds the matches, names the count and shows you a few picks. She can narrow a search one question at a time: which part of the metro, how many bedrooms, which features, the top of your budget. She can show what is for sale around a home you like, find similar homes and compare the ones in hand. Example pill: “Nail down my must-haves.”

Property questions

Ask about any home on its page. Myli can tell you more about it, run a market analysis with the value, the range, the area's numbers, the history, schools and taxes, and show what similar homes sold for. If a home is already under contract or sold, she tells you what happened to it and can watch it in case it comes back. Example pill: “Market analysis on 7924 W 118th.”

Affordability

Myli works out what you can comfortably afford. She asks four things: monthly income before taxes, monthly debts, what you have saved for a down payment and your credit band. Then she gives you a number, a monthly payment and homes in your area around that payment. On any home she can run the monthly payment. When you are ready, she takes your details and can introduce you to a local lending partner available in your market for a pre-approval. Example pill: “What can I afford?”

Tours

When you find a home that is for sale or coming soon, Myli can help you request a tour. The request goes to a HouseLoop licensed real estate agent serving that market, who confirms the time with you. She never books a tour of a home that is pending or sold. On a home's page you can also use Ask a question, which can connect you with a HouseLoop licensed real estate agent. Example pill: “Tour 10601 Barton.”

Memory

When you sign in, Myli remembers what you told her: your price range, your must-haves, the homes you liked and the numbers she worked out. Come back next week and she picks up where you left off instead of starting over. Everything she remembers is tied to the moment you said it, so it can be checked. Anything she is not sure she understood is held for a person to look at, never written down as fact. Example pill: “Pick up where we left off.”

Human agents

Myli is the first step, not the last. Tours and questions that need a human go to a HouseLoop licensed real estate agent serving your market, while pre-approval requests can go to a local lending partner. HouseLoop keeps that relationship inside the HouseLoop experience rather than selling your inquiry to an unrelated agent. Anything Myli would send outside the chat on someone's behalf goes through a person first. When you want to talk to someone, say so and she connects you.

Privacy and limitations

Myli only cites numbers from the page and the listing data in front of her. She does not invent prices or counts. She covers the markets HouseLoop covers and nothing outside them; today that is the eight Kansas City metro counties. Her “homes nearby” uses the home's zip and subdivision, not a distance radius. She is not a licensed agent and does not give legal or lending advice. What she keeps about you is covered by the HouseLoop privacy policy.
