Small lessons.
A big move.

The big idea
What's the difference between a buyer's agent and a listing agent?
Know who's on your side of the table.
Once you sign a buyer agency agreement, your agent works for you: pre-approval help, finding the home, writing and negotiating the offer, and getting you through inspection and appraisal.
The listing agent works for the seller.
See it in an example

Example
One home, two agents.
Listing agent: stages the home, lists it, markets it
Your agent: helps you find it and write your offer
Normally two agents are involved. Yours works for you once you sign a buyer agency agreement.
