About this home

This gorgeous, modern ranch is truly a one-of-a-kind home! The house features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, open concept living, and an amazing backyard water garden. The kitchen, great room, and dining room areas are drenched with light from multiple skylights and large windows that line the back of the home, affording views of the deck, waterfalls, and fountains. A large stone fireplace adds warmth and coziness to the great room. The vaulted ceiling has a sound system and integrated lighting features, allowing the ambiance to be controlled in every single portion of the open living space. The entertainer’s kitchen has two huge granite islands with floor-level under cabinet lighting, stainless steel appliances, and a walk-in pantry. A wet bar with beverage fridge and wine storage adjoins the kitchen. The laundry room/mud room is just off the kitchen, providing easy access to the outdoor hot tub and the garage. A large cedar closet can be found in the rear of the garage for added storage. The oversized primary suite and additional bedrooms all have walk-in closets. The second bathroom features a lit glass art piece, which is an homage to the true star of this home—the back yard. Outdoors, experience private serenity in this back yard oasis. A large gazebo covers the deck, which overlooks the extensive water garden. Bubbling fountains and two waterfalls surround a 30,000-gallon Colorado moss rock Zen Pond filled with Koi. Beyond the water garden, a wandering perimeter path is filled with flowers and landscaping. Once you’ve explored it, you won’t want to leave this breathtaking back yard! However, many local amenities are located nearby. Brookridge Park and the local elementary school are within easy walking distance. Located in the Shawnee Mission South School District, the home is also convenient to shops and dining. Don’t miss out! You will not see another home like this one anytime soon!
