About this home

If you're looking for the peace and privacy of country living, but still want the convenience of the city, this place is for you. This unique home tucked in the wooded hills just outside Parkville was taken down to studs and completely rebuilt and renovated. The only original thing that remains is the exposed natural stone foundation wall along the front of the basement. Not only does this home have character, but it offers open living spaces, large bedrooms with walk in closets, hardwood and tile flooring, energy efficient Pella doors and windows, and a view of the wildlife preserve that is located just south of the property. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of custom cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances (stove/oven range, dishwasher, and refrigerator that stay with the home). Downstairs you will find a finished walkout basement with a full bathroom, large informal 3rd bedroom with a walk in closet, a storage room, a laundry space (newer Maytag washer and dryer included), and an oversized 1 car attached garage. This property features over a quarter acre with a wrap around driveway area, and a large attached deck for entertaining. Never worry about cleaning your gutters, because there are top of the line gutter guards installed as well. This owner did everything right when renovating this home. Park Hill Schools. Close to 64th street, downtown Parkville, Zona Rosa, and 15 minutes from the Kansas City River Market (South) and the MCI Airport (North).
