About this home

High quality renovation of this "Dutch Colonial" style house means you'll be proud to rename it "Home." A MUST see! Historic character and craftsmanship were retained, including beautifully refinished oak floors, while modern updates and all new mechanical systems give you the best of last century and this one! "All" means gutted to the studs, rewired, insulated, new ductwork with new furnace, air conditioning and water heater, all new plumbing and bathrooms, new water line from the street and new concrete driveway. The redesigned and open kitchen is fully equipped with all new stainless-steel appliances. Located within walking distance to both Rockhurst University & UMKC campuses, and the cluster of shops in the 5500 block of Troost Avenue. (See pictures 29-37 for a preview of what's close enough to walk to.) Established Blue Hills neighborhood has mature trees and a strong and active voluntary neighborhood association. You won't find this quality and attention to detail in a typical "fix and flip" for quick profit. Ask your agent about financing, with lender gift for down payment and closing costs for first-time buyers, that can't be named in this space but is so amazing you could call it the Fairy Godmother Loan Program!
