About this home

Come see this Charming 3 story home in historic Hyde Park. This place has all the charm of the early 1900's starting out with a great covered porch to enjoy the summer breeze on. The porch has plenty of space for seating and plants and comes with porch swing already in place. The warmth of the original wood work beckons guests throughout the main level. Leaded glass windows lay on the charm in the two front rooms, with more stained glass and transom windows scattered through the upper floors. Oversized entry way opens to the living room or kitchen, which walks through to a breakfast nook, and on to a large formal dining room. High ceilings and lots of natural light keeps this home feeling airy and open. The original hardwoods flow through most of the second level which holds three bedrooms and a full bath. Clawfoot tub and beadboard accentuate the charm of the original bathroom with an updated look. One bedroom and the stairs up to the top have new carpet for a more plush. Also on the second level is a beautiful walk out balcony with screened windows. It is a perfect spot to breath in the outdoors, entertain, or just enjoy the great views of the backyard. The primary suite occupies the entire third floor with great views and an abundance of natural light through the many windows. The large walk-in closet wraps around to meet with the full bath. The entire suite is a peaceful retreat right in the middle of the busy city. The back yard is lined with a privacy fence, and includes a shed, deck and large patio just waiting for you to make your own private oasis. Roof is 5 years old, and HVAC was just replaced last year.
