About this home

Located in the rolling hills of Ray County, just outside of Richmond, this 42.67 +/- surveyed acre hunting property is a turnkey recreational tract in an area known for outstanding whitetail deer and turkey hunting. The property is primarily timbered with several established food plots that provide an ideal balance of bedding cover, travel corridors, and year-round food sources. The rolling terrain and elevation changes make the farm feel much larger than its surveyed acreage while creating natural funnels and excellent stand locations. An extensive trail system provides easy access throughout the property for hunting, ATV riding, habitat management, and game retrieval. The farm is ready for the upcoming season with two tower blinds already in place overlooking established food plots planted in corn, milo, and clover. The current owner has also planted Whitetail Hill chestnut trees along with late-dropping persimmons, pear trees, Non-Typical apple trees, and crabapple trees to provide additional long-term food sources for wildlife. One of the property's best features is the southeast access, allowing hunters to enter and exit with minimal disturbance while taking advantage of the prevailing northwest winds. The layout includes an approximately 3-acre primary food plot along with several smaller openings that create excellent opportunities for both bow and firearm hunting. The surrounding area consists of large timber tracts and productive farmland, providing exceptional habitat for whitetail deer and wild turkey. Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway, a manageable hunting property, or a recreational investment, this farm is set up and ready to enjoy from day one.
