About this home

The Kueser Farmhouse has a very colorful and long history situated along U.S. Highway 59. The farmhouse was originally built as a stagecoach stop between Ottawa and Garnett, Kansas. The house was later used as a residence for the Gretencord men who decided to live the bachelor life. The residence was updated during the 1970’s and has since been used as the Leland/Alberta Kueser family home. This place has SO MUCH to offer!! HWY 59 road frontage, great fencing for cattle, good grass, tons of water - build a lake!! Amazing history - Santa Fe Railroad completed an 80 acre reservoir called Richmond Lake in 1907. The Richmond Lake’s water was used by Santa Fe, Richmond schools, and residents of Richmond until the dam burst in 1944. Re-build this lake and you will have an absolutely incredible spot for -$500k!
