About this home

Time to spring into action on this 8+/- acres! Located south of Elk City, by Elk City Reservoir. Once upon a time this 8+/- acres was a homestead, so utilities are on the property and could be used for a home site if you were looking to build. Current Home is not livable but does provide old fashion tin and wood that could be used in the tear down process. Land is sectioned off into 2 areas, one being with the home and outbuildings, the second being an open pasture for livestock. The land in the pasture falls away to the south and could potentially be a great site for a large pond. The past seasons the pasture has been used for hay, no grazing in the last several years. You are able to access the property off of the gravel road to the north or off of Hwy 160. Elk City Reservoir area is well-known for its diverse trail systems and borders the south end of the property which allows for thousands of acres of exploring, trails, and water sports. Whether your looking for a place to relax, a home-site, camping site, pond site, canoeing site, or just a fun site this property has the start to many options. Make it want you want and enjoy the Southeast Kansas living in the outdoors!
