About this home

Back on market at no fault of seller or property. If you’re looking for a phenomenal recreational property with massive hill top views to build on with blacktop access then you will love what this farm has to offer! We are offering a picturesque 50.8 surveyed acre recreational farm just 30 minutes north of Kansas City and 20 minutes south of St. Joseph, MO. While touring the farm you will immediately notice the massive elevation changes and rolling topography that is very unique to this part of far western Missouri. This farm has a massive ridge top that would make an incredible place to build a home. Water and electric have both been brought onto the farm and meters just need to be set. As you pull through the double gates and up the drive you will find a water hydrant, electric meter box, and a cellar that is in good structural condition! There are numerous deer tails, rubs, scrapes, and turkey roost trees throughout the farm and in particular along the band of hardwood timber located on the west half of the farm! This provides a very evident and highly traveled corridor and funnel for whitetail to move throughout the farm while they move from the row crop, to the bedding area, to the massive conservation area across the road! For the avid hunter and outdoorsmen you will be pleased to know that Bluffwoods Conservation Area is located right across the road and provides nearly 2250+/- acres of public hunting access! There is a nice creek on the north end of the farm. Currently there are 12+/- acres in row crop production. If a buyer would like the farmer to continue farming these acres then that is a likely possibility. This 50.8 acres offers a ditch, creek, row crop production, dense thick cover, hardwood timber, big mature oak trees, trails throughout the farm, blacktop road access, and a giant ridge top to build a beautiful home or recreational cabin!
